In honor of the holidays, there is no Friday meeting this week or next week - please enjoy this time with your family and friends. And know that your generosity has allowed the Rotary Club of Dunwoody to make a difference this holiday season: we gave a book to each of the students at Dresden and Kingsley Elementary Schools, gave Thanksgiving Harvest Baskets to 82 Kingsley families, and were out in full force last Friday supporting Toys for Tots.
While there are no formal meetings, there are two opportunities for fellowship this week - Thirsty Thursday this week at The Duke (see article below) and a Rotary Means Business gathering tomorrow - Tuesday, December 17, where you can network with other local Rotarians and promote your business at the Hudson Grille in Brookhaven. 6:30-8:00pm.
Happy Holidays to you all! See you in 2020.

Join us at a special December venue - The Duke, 2685 Ashford Dunwoody Rd., Dunwoody from 5 pm to 7 pm on Thursday, December 19.
The Duke is holding a special event to honor Dunwoody Mayor Denis Shortal, with 20% of all proceeds going to Mayor Shortal's selected charity - the Dunwoody Police Foundation
We still have two or three hosting opportunities open for the upcoming GRSP Leadership Weekend, along with other opportunities to help out over the weekend and spend some time with this year's GRSP class.
Host families provide breakfast on Saturday and Sunday, and transportation to and from weekend events on Friday night and Saturday. There will be three dinners for the students and their weekend hosts on Saturday night.
Contact Jackie Cuthbert if you would like to host - she is in the process of matching students to weekend families. Contact Louise Barden to find out about other volunteer opportunities for the weekend.
