We Care About Dunwoody

The Rotary Club of Dunwoody is proud to take an active part in making our community better, whether it's through our contribution to Dunwoody's K-9 unit, our participation in the July 4 celebration, our work at the Dunwoody Nature Center, keeping the traffic island by the library (AKA Bounds Gardens) beautifully maintained, or assisting with artist set-up and break-down at the Dunwoody Arts Festival.

Georgia Rotary Student Program (GRSP)

Leadership Training

Each year, the Georgia Rotary Student Program (GRSP) brings in about 45 students from around the world into Georgia, hosts them for a year of school and introduces them to the concept of Service Above Self. The program just celebrated its 75th anniversary and we have hosted more than 3500 students.

The Rotary Club of Dunwoody sponsors the GRSP Leadership Weekend each year -with support from our partners in the Rotaract Club of Atlanta, and the Atlanta Metro, Buckhead, Gainesville, and North Atlanta Rotary Clubs. We bring all the students together to do a service project, build their leadership, teamwork and communication skills, and just have fun! The next leadership weekend is scheduled for Feb. 10-12, 2023.

The Rotaract Club of Atlanta is a group of young professionals who get together to network, share experiences and serve their community. The Rotary Club of Dunwoody is proud to sponsor the Rotaract Club and include them as much as possible in our activities.

USO

Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport

The Rotary Club of Dunwoody is proud to support the USO at the Atlanta Airport. Twice a year, we staff the USO lounge there, welcoming our troops home or giving them a grateful sendoff with a meal, fellowship and personal assistance that provides a layer of support that is always appreciated.
