This week we have two speakers - our own Warren Parsons serves as is a District Executive for the Atlanta Area Council the Boy Scouts of America for the Hightower Trail District. and Margaret Evans, volunteer and recipient of the the Hightower Trial District Award of Merit, and the Whitney M. Young service award. You may join us in person at Le Meridien or via Zoom at at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/86202979419. In the meantime, read more about Warren and Margaret.
Not because we're superstitious - but because several of us will be in SanDestin for Rotary District 6900's celebration weekend. We'll tell you all about it when we're back! And the following week is Thirsty Thursday, so there's no meeting that Friday - we hope you'll join us Thursday, August 19 at the Dunwoody Tavern.
Last Saturday, Dunwoody Rotarians joined with other clubs in the DeKalb Rotary Council to collect used medical equipment for Friends of Disabled Adults and Children (FODAC). This project has collected about $1,000,000 worth of durable medical equipment from local residents and businesses in the metro Atlanta area; that equipment is then refurbished and redistributed to those in need. Thanks to Rick Woods for coordinating our effort - and to all of you who participated! Click more to see additional photos!
