This Week's Speaker
Join Us for Club Assembly This Week

Last week's holiday luncheon program detailed many of the things we have accomplished in the first half of the 2025-26 Rotary Year ... many service projects that totaled up to 874 service hours, six new members, and several levels of support for The Rotary Foundation and the Georgia Rotary Student Program.

Join us this Friday morning at Maggiano's to learn about what's in store for the second half of the year. President Matthew and his team have a plan for success - and we look forward to discussions about the New Year!

Congratulations Marion Bunch!

Congratulations to Marion Bunch, recipient of the 2025 William M. Mulkey Greater Giving Award!

At our Holiday Luncheon, we had the honor of presenting Marion with this special recognition named for Bill Mulkey—a Past District Governor and longtime leader of the Rotary Club of Dunwoody who was the kind of leader that changed lives, and did it often.

Marion exemplifies that same spirit of service. She launched a private/public partnership to assist people in Africa fighting AIDS—work that has impacted 3.5 million lives. In presenting the award, Past President Kathy Brandt also reminded us that Marion chaired a very successful Governor's Ball that went on to be our major fundraiser event for more than 20 years.

We are so fortunate to have Marion as a member of our Rotary, and we couldn't be more thrilled to honor her with this award. Thank you, Marion, for showing us what Greater Giving truly looks like!

Dunwoody Supports Alzheimer's in Multiple Ways ... and Golf Tournament Makes a Difference

At last Friday's holiday luncheon, the Rotary Club of Dunwoody was recognized by the Alzheimer's Association of Georgia for contributing $85,000 over our last four golf tournaments. This milestone wouldn't be possible without our incredible sponsors, players, volunteers, and community members who show up year after year to support a cause that touches so many families.

We made donations to Anchor Place Respite of Dunwoody last Friday too - some of the additional money raised at our 2025 golf tournament and additional funds to help support volunteer education at the Respite for All Conference next March.

Our next tournament is Monday, May 18, 2026 at St. Marlo Country Club - you call follow our progress at www.rcdtournament.com. Thank you to the Alzheimer's Association for the honor we received and to Anchor Place for all they are doing in the community. Thanks as well to everyone who has helped us get here. Here's to making an even bigger impact in the years ahead.

Wine Fellowship
Join Us for a 12th Night Wine Fellowship in January!

Ron and Louise Barden are inviting you to join in a 12th Night Wine Fellowship on Sunday, January 4, 2026 from  3-5 pm. Bring a bottle of wine or other beverage and a snack to share. Mulled wine and non-alcoholic beverages will be served. And let's keep our Christmas garb out for an extra week - we invite you to wear your ugly Christmas sweater ... Or a pretty Christmas sweater ... or whatever. Be aware: There will be prizes for the "ugliest" and the "prettiest" Christmas sweater.

The party will be at 5576 Colbert Trail, Peachtree Corners, GA. Our home phone is 770 447-9281.

Please RSVP to Louise by email at lbarden@comcast.net
