Our club brings GRSP international students within Georgia, USA for a leadership training weekend on Martin Luther King weekend. Our Rotary club works with Buckhead, Brookhaven and Atlanta Metro to host 40 international students. We bring them all to Atlanta and perform 2.5 days of classes and service projects to teach them leadership skills. These students are hosted free of charge by members of the participating clubs on Friday and Saturday night.
This is a joint Rotary Club project including members from Buckhead, Gainesville, Atlanta Metro, Brookhaven and Atlanta Metro Rotaract Club.
It includes a day of training on Saturday with the students that includes an activity to give back to the world, with a joint multi club social on Saturday night at three members homes attended by the students, their hosts and the volunteers. On Sunday the students are led in a leadership training event by the Atlanta Metro Rotaract Club.
